The two wolves licked and rubbed against one another, tails entwining. The black male nibbled the grey fae's chin. 'I love you, Rylane. I love you so much.' the black male murmured, rubbing against her. She seemed to purr in pleasure. 'And I you, my darling.' she said in return, licking his ears. A snarl exploded from the black wolf's throat, ringing in the silence of his clearing in the autumn forest. The purple flame on his forehead gleamed as a circle 20 feet wide streamed out around him. He was enveloped in darkness, only his gleaming purple eyes and his purple flame could be seen. He let the darkness seep away slowly, melting away from him. Purple eyes gleamed in fury as he looked around. 'Why did you leave me?!' he whispered to the skies, where his beloved was now. 'Why did you leave me here alone?! I couldve changed you, and we wouldve been together forever.' Kage lowered his head in agony as he remember the stunning fae that he had loved. Rylane leaned against her love, his head resting on her shoulder. 'Dont ever leave me.' Kage whispered gently, tongue rasping over her ear. 'Please, dont ever say good bye.' he murmured, eyes closing as she titled her head around to lick his nose. 'I wont, I wont.' 'But you did!' he snarled. His voice was evilly quiet, a soft hiss in the night. The cool air wafted around him, mist swirling gently at his paws. He wanted to scream his fury to the world, let all his emotions come lose at once. But Kage could not do that. He could not allow himself to lose that much control over emotions that had been, over the many years he had tread the earth, locked away behind a many a mask.
